1. About Quantum Jobs
Quantum Jobs is a quantum and deep-tech talent discovery platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
2. Data We Collect
For candidates: name, email address, phone number (optional), city and state, current job title, years of experience, skills, bio, profile photo (optional), and resume (PDF, optional). For employers: company name, contact name, work email, company website, industry, and company size. We also collect usage data: job listing views, search queries (anonymized), and click-through events.
3. How We Use Your Data
Candidate data is used to provide platform functionality: displaying your profile to yourself, storing your resume privately, sending job alert emails, and enabling saved jobs. Your data is not sold or shared with employers in Phase 1. Employer data is used to display company profiles and manage job listings. Usage data is used to improve platform functionality and generate ecosystem analytics (aggregated and anonymized).
4. Your Rights (DPDP Act)
Under the DPDP Act 2023, you have the right to: access all personal data we hold about you (via Account Settings > Export Data), correct inaccurate data (via Account Settings), and request permanent deletion of your account and all associated personal data (processed within 30 calendar days).
5. Data Storage & Security
All data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. We use TLS 1.2+ encryption in transit and AES-256 encryption at rest. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt.
6. Data Retention
Active account data is retained while your account is active. Candidate resumes are permanently deleted when your account is deleted. Expired job listings are retained for 12 months after expiry, then archived in anonymized form. Server logs are auto-purged after 90 days.
